The exhibition Walkers: Hollywood Afterlives in Art and Artifact looks at how movie iconography is reimagined and recycled in contemporary art, and how movies live on in the cultural memory. 40 artists dissect and redefine iconic films through photography, drawing, sculpture, print, and video.
We turned this book into a “black box”, suggesting the promise of cinema. Variably sized fonts celebrate the character of scripts, songs, essays, poems, quotes, etc. Sheets filled with raw images suggest unedited material before selection and design — a reminder of what is to come…
