exhibition catalogue
concept and book design
A pioneering artist since the 1960s, Bruce Nauman investigates our most basic physical, emotional and psychological states so that they can be experienced by viewers. Bruce Nauman: Theaters of Experience features a selection of works in a range of media, including sculpture, video, holograms, neon and architectural installations.
design Like the exhibition it accompanied, this catalogue traces the theatrical elements in Nauman’s work, as well as his manipulation of the performer-spectator roles. We sought to capture that densely dramatic quality in the book.
