Relocated: Twenty Stones from Japan
exhibition catalogue
concept, art direction, book design, production
This catalogue accompanied an exhibition of twenty Noguchi works shipped from his former studio in Japan. It includes photographs and statements about Noguchi’s work in granite, basalt and andesite.
design The sculptures where photographed on the base of the crate in which they were shipped from Japan — our art direction, to the delight of the museum and the horror of the gallery! The museum allowed us to use never previously published photographs taken by Noguchi.
client
