Glee is a unique volume dedicated to new developments in the world of contemporary painting — developments that engage advances in digital technology instead of fleeing from them. Glee documents how artists are influenced by Op Art, Pattern & Decoration, early computer graphics and late 1960s psychedelia.
design Wrapped in a bright green linen cover, our catalogue features a gatefold that divides the book into two halves: the first dedicated to the artworks themselves, the second to essays and artist biographies. All texts are in a gleeful bright pink and silver.
client Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art, Florida. The PBICA was a venue for major national and international art in all media and a meeting ground for the diverse populations who live in and visit the Palm Beach region.
