Index Magazine
bi-monthly magazine
creative direction and design
Since 1996, index magazine has been spotlighting emergent and established figures in music, movies, fashion, art, writing and culture. It features interviews with stars and world-class photos from the likes of Wolfgang Tillmans, Juergen Teller and Terry Richardson.
Our redesign provides a structure for the various editorial elements, while maintaining the existing unpolished, underground feel, which we liked a lot. Those interviewed were considered “‘The Stars To Be,” so we gave each of them a special treatment on their own opening spreads.
